About Sponsored Riders

Sponsored Riders for 2021-2022

This August  I decided to sponsor some riders for one year, in a non-monetary role. The Sponsorship took longer than expected to choose as I had quite a few apply this year.

The riders I chose follow different genres of Horsemanship. They are all supplied with sponsored  tops and saddle pads with my logo on, and promote my photography on social media. They also receive two free photoshoots per year, by following the terms of their contract.

My sponsored riders all have access to personally assigned discount codes, so if your thinking of booking a photoshoot please follow their social media pages and ask them for their discount codes.

Rebecca Dix has

applied for 2021/22 year

With two Irish Sports Horses, "Trafford Boy " aka "Apache"  and "Miss Carbon Copy " aka "Daisy", Becca competes in Dressage and Showjumping & Eventing, and has numerous achievements in both.

Charlotte Kirkham

applied for 21/22

Charlotte is currently looking for another horse but competes mainly in Showjumping. She recently sold on her Horse "Danny", and is on the search for her next big adventure. She rides a lot of younger horses in the meantime bringing them on and competing them on behalf of Drewlore Equine.

Georgia Cooper & Ted

Teddy (AKA Tank). I have owned Teddy for 11 years and he is a 19 year old Irish Cob who despite living up to his show name when he was younger (when he used to bolt off with me almost constantly) is now regularly competing at elementary level dressage and veterans showing, having had a successful career showjumping. Teddy loves being a dressage diva and has recently found a new skill in showing but his all time favourite thing is treats of course

My hopes for Teddy and I, are to place at Hickstead when we compete there in September and to this year do a Medium level dressage test. My main aim though is to keep him happy and healthy and letting him enjoy his life to fullest as he has surpassed all expectations since a surgery that he had in March 2020 when we weren’t sure if he would return to ridden work. Despite everything Teddy still loves his job and is working better than ever before, having won his class at five different outings this year, coming 2nd twice and 3rd three times.

Alice Robinson & Fern Naught II aka Bertie

Bertie is a 10 year old pure Irish Draught standing at 17.1hh. His one true love is eating but he does quite enjoy his jumping and chasing you. I’ve had Bertie for 6 years and half years and he has been the most awesome horse taking me from being a beginner to taking me eventing and now doing low level British Dressage. Bertie has had his fair share of injuries but he has come back better than ever and enjoys doing dressage and some showjumping. We go out regularly whether it be to arena hire, cross country schooling, shows or just to hack somewhere different. We also love a good beach trip! He is currently competing at BD Novice but I have aspirations to do an elementary test after being dared to do an online one during lockdown and it actually going well! He showjumps at 90 but we do like jumping the odd bigger jump at home for fun. He has also made his showing debut at our yard show placing 1st in working hunter and show hunter where we qualified for sunshine tours. If all goes to plan Bertie will be going to hickstead to do the dressage, showjumping and showing.

These riders are being sponsored until 1st September 2022, when the search will start again in August 2022 so if you are a young rider with aspirations to excel in your chosen genre of horsemanship watch out for details of how to apply next year.
