I started to do gold leaf with horses a while ago and find that it really adds that something different to images when taking portraits of horses and ponies.

I apply the gold leaf and it cleans off easily too ! 

If your horse has skin problems it would be something to consider and you would have to sign a consent form to say you're happy to have it applied.
